Two lives, one adventure
Where it all began
Dating during the pandemic was a challenging era. Our first date, in January of 2021, was almost canceled due to a positive COVID test. Luckily, the show went on. The night began with a bottle of wine and sushi, and we wanted to keep hanging out but did not know where to go. So, naturally, we spent the next few hours making Uber Eats drop-offs.
We bonded over our part-time courier careers, our love for North Jersey, and our great college experiences. Joseph shot his shot for date number two, which Katie accepted. A few months later, Katie moved to an apartment in New York City, where Joseph began creating his own little closet. Eventually, he moved in, and the rest was history.
Through years of vacations in Italy and Mexico, plus countless trips down the shore, our love grew. In May 2025, while Katie was away, Joseph asked for her parents’ blessing to propose one month later. That brings us to now, and we cannot wait to celebrate with all of our loved ones.
